Valerie Gerardi has grown into a one-of-a-kind leader in the real estate industry over the years. Valerie's entrance into the real estate sector was much more than chance or coincidence. It was the result of a family deeply rooted in the home construction industry. Valerie's involvement in the building aspect of the real estate industry naturally evolved into a keen interest in home sales and acquisitions.
Valerie graduated from York University with a B.A in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration. She followed her passion and joined her family home building business, becoming a Certified Ontario Home Builder. After learning the sub-division and master plan community business, she started her own custom home building company. Valerie has since spent 15 years helping families build their dream homes throughout Ontario. This led her to become a licensed realtor in 2012.
Valerie chose to become a Toronto real estate agent because of her passion for helping individuals navigate finding their dream home while sharing her knowledge and expertise in the industry. Her experience equips her to guide buyers and sellers throughout the Toronto area home buying and selling process due to her background in the construction and development industry.
When asked why she chose to join Sotheby's International Realty Canada, Valerie stated, "I chose to join Sotheby's International Realty Canada because I was drawn to the sense of community the company embodies." She continued, "Real estate is founded on building relationships and engaging within the communities we serve, which I believe Sotheby's does extremely well."
Always learning and growing Valerie's continued education includes ABR - Accredited Buyers Representative.
She has been honored with top sales awards within her associations and industry. Notably, Valerie has been nominated in the Top 100 "Women of Influence" Awards for three consecutive years. Regardless of the number of homes sold or awards won, the people matter most. Valerie's relationships with clients run deep, and she treats every client as if they are her only client.
Valerie is hands-on and involved in daily operations with buyers and sellers. When you meet her, you know you are in good hands. She is extremely diligent, an expert negotiator, and very knowledgeable about the market. She is eager to help clients find their first and forever home!
When not working, Valerie enjoys spending time with her two children, golfing, gardening, and watching NFL and College football!
